Fill out the following form to submit your Javazone talk. When you submit, you will receive an email as a confirmation. You will also receive a link to a page where you can update your submission.

Fields marked as Public will be visible in the public programme if your talk is accepted. All other fields are only visible to the organizers.

Please fill in this form in the language you are giving your talk. That means, if you are presenting in Norwegian, skriv på norsk!

Presentation format Public
  • The length of a presentation will be maximum 60 minutes. Preferably 50 minutes with 10 minutes to Q & A.
  • The length of a lightning talk will be maximum 10 minutes including Q & A.
Title Public
  • Select an expressive title that captures the contents of your talk well without being too long.
  • Remember that the title must be attractive and should make a reader curious.
Abstract Public
  • Give a concise description of the contents and goals of your talk.
  • The abstract will be published in the conference programme.
  • It should not be longer than 300 words.
Language Public
  • The talk can be given in Norwegian or English
  • The slides may be in English even if you present the talk in Norwegian.
  • We generally recommends that you hold the talk in the language you are most comfortable with. In our experience the talk will be better then.
  • Level Public
    More information about how we classify the talks can be found here.
    Outline
    This information will be used by the program committee for reviewing the detailed contents. The outline should be a table of contents of the talk, with a few keywords for each section, and with a rough estimate of the time spent on each.
    Highlight summary Public

    Description of the contents of your talk in only a few sentences. The highlight summary can be used in teaser presentations on the web prior to the conference.

    Equipment Optional

    Please specify any additional special equipment you may need, e.g., more than one slide projector, video projection facilities, computer tables, paper boards, etc.

    • Who should attend this session?
    • How will the participants benefit from attending?
    • Clearly state what knowledge you expect from your participants.
