CFP notification for JavaZone 2009
- the leading Java conference in Scandinavia
We would like to inform you that call for presentations for JavaZone 2009 will open February 11.
To take place in Oslo, Norway, on 9-10 September 2009, the conference will offer a combination of technical talks and panels in an informal atmosphere with an expected attendence of 2000. JavaZone 2009 will be the eigth consecutive JavaZone conference.
As previous years, last year's conference was a massive success, with software professionals and partners enjoying more than 100 sessions covering multiple topics, and an impressive lineup of internationally known speakers. Leading evangelists in the community rate JavaZone as one of most important Java events in Europe.
The JavaZone conference is organized by javaBin, the Norwegian Java User Group (JUG). javaBin is an idealistic, non-profit organization established in 1996 by a group of Java enthusiasts. The JUG has since evolved to be the leading group for the promotion of Java in Scandinavia.

This year we are requesting abstracts on the following topics:

- Embedded, Mobile and Gaming
- Enterprise Architecture and Integration
- Web as a Platform
- Architecture and Design
- Agile and Software Engineering
- Alternative Languages
- Experience Reports
- Innovative use of IT
- Green IT
The abstracts should be tagged with the appropriate topics from the above list.
Format and duration
The presentations may be given in two formats, either a 60 min presentation, or a 10 min lightning talk.
